FTCA, Inc. - Manufacturer of the Coleman Camping Trailer, based in Somerset, PA, is a $75 million manufacturer of folding camper trailers. Since 1967 FTCA, Inc. has been the premier brand in the industry-selling product originally under the Coleman brand, and then as part of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. The Company focuses exclusively on the folding trailer market and has been a leader in the industry with new product developments and innovations. FTCA, Inc. enjoys an extremely loyal dealer network. The business manufactures its entire product line out of its Somerset, PA headquarters. FTCA, Inc. has 21 different models categorized into four product series. The business employs over 300 people across all business disciplines. In August 2008 FTCA, Inc. entered into a licensing agreement with The Coleman Company. FTCA, Inc. is now the proud manufacturer of the Coleman Camping Trailer.

Transaction Background:
Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. owned the business for several years as part of a portfolio of RV related businesses. In 2007, as the RV business slowed, Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. decided to focus on their core RV and manufactured housing businesses and decided to divest their non-core Folding Trailer division. Due to the slowing economy and tight credit markets the deal was difficult to accomplish and generated limited interest. Blackstreet ended up acquiring FTCA, Inc. in May 2008.

Since its inception, the Somerset facility has produced the premier folding camper in the industry. With leading market share (almost twice as big as its nearest competitor), FTCA, Inc. is well positioned to grow and develop new products which will be distributed through its strong loyal dealer network, which has been responsible for much of the company’s success.
